Our Commitment
Ethics
Trust is the foundation of this community. Here's what guides us, how we work, and the standards we hold every practitioner to.
Our Philosophy
Discernment over dependency
We believe every person is the ultimate authority on their own life. The books, practitioners, and gatherings we bring into this community are chosen to support your own inner wisdom — never to replace it. We hold space for mystery and intuition while insisting on honesty, humility, and respect for your discernment.
We do not claim to verify anyone's metaphysical abilities. What we do commit to is curating for character: humility, transparency, and a genuine desire to serve.
Our Methods
How we vet every practitioner
Before anyone joins our directory, they go through a structured review across two separate sessions, scored against the same standards you'll find below — professional presence, client safety, honesty, boundaries, and integrity. Practitioners who show automatic red flags, such as fear-based messaging or claims of guaranteed outcomes, are not invited into the community.
We revisit these standards regularly as the wider field evolves, and we welcome feedback from clients at any time.
Code of Ethics
The emerging standard in channeling & mediumship
The channeling and mediumship world has historically lacked a shared code of ethics. Below are the two documents we rely on internally — reproduced in full, and available to download — so you can see exactly what we look for and hold every practitioner to.
Red and Green Flags When Choosing a Channeler
Download GuideThis guide is intended to help clients evaluate channelers based on ethics, humility, professionalism, and client well-being. It is not intended to verify or invalidate any individual's claimed abilities.
Green Flags
- Encourages your own discernment and reminds you that you remain the ultimate authority on your life.
- Speaks with humility and is comfortable saying 'I don't know' or 'This may not resonate.'
- Clearly distinguishes intuitive impressions from objective facts.
- Avoids fear-based messaging and dramatic predictions.
- Respects professional boundaries and encourages appropriate medical, mental health, legal, or financial professionals when needed.
- Welcomes respectful questions and healthy skepticism.
- Demonstrates integrity by striving to live according to the principles they share.
- Can describe specific ways their channeling has helped them make healthier decisions, improve relationships, navigate challenges, or continue growing.
- Is honest that their life is not perfect and can share how applying their own guidance has led to meaningful improvement over time.
- Leaves you feeling more connected to your own inner wisdom rather than dependent on them.
- Maintains confidentiality and is transparent about services, pricing, and expectations.
- Shows consistency in values and behavior over time.
Red Flags
- Claims absolute certainty or exclusive access to truth.
- Uses fear, urgency, curses, or threats to influence your decisions.
- Creates dependency or implies you need frequent sessions to stay safe or spiritually aligned.
- Discourages therapy, medical care, medication, or other qualified professionals.
- Gives medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice beyond their qualifications.
- Becomes defensive when respectfully questioned.
- Violates emotional, financial, or romantic boundaries.
- Relies heavily on vague statements while extracting information from you.
- Promises guaranteed healing, wealth, enlightenment, or perfect outcomes.
- Cannot explain how their own practice has contributed to their personal growth or repeatedly behaves in ways that contradict the principles they teach.
Three Questions to Ask a Channeler
- 1. How has your channeling practice changed your own life over the years?
- 2. Can you share an example of guidance you received that was difficult to follow but ultimately helped you grow?
- 3. If I leave today's session disagreeing with some of what you shared, would you consider that acceptable?
